The VK2BFC Station

The VK2BFC station has always consisted of Yaesu Musen communications equipment. I began with an FT-707 covering the HF bands with 100Watts and a simple G5RV Dipole and MFJ 949E Antenna Tuner. This gained me many contacts and a number of awards.

After i moved to Albury i obtained an FT-950 and subsequently an FT Dx3000. In addition an MFJ 962 Tuner. FTM-300 VHF/UHF radio. Anytone UV-578 and various other pieces of equipment. My small workshop quickly became filled with test equipment and components to make projects and repair electronic devices.

I am always adding new bits and pieces to the shack the latest being a GAP Titan DX Antenna covering 80m to 10 m and a Yaesu DRX2 70cm C4FM Repeater operating on the Wires-X network. I have a Yaesu FT-891 and FTM-400D in my car with an ATAS-120 tunable antenna for HF.
